Methodology
The assessment tool was made available to Health Cluster Ukraine Partners to use at anytime where they are implementing their activities.

This tool is intended for conducting rapid health-focused assessments at the community or shelter level, using a perceived needs approach focused on accountability to affected populations, in which the subjectively reported needs of communities are prioritized over expert-driven assessment. This tool is intended to be administered to a key informant of a community or shelter. Such key informants may include shelter operators, health workers, community leaders, or anyone else with knowledge about the population.

• Basic characteristics of shelter/community
• Basic demographic information of shelter/community
• Health needs
• Main problems
• Main risks

• What are the basic characteristics of the shelter/community?
• What are the main reported health needs of the shelter/community?
• Which needs are perceived to be the most serious?
• Are there any upcoming risks to the health of the shelter/community? if so, which?
